The Sevilla Collection: Virgin Saints & Angels
Brazos Market Featuring The Sevilla Collection from Virgin Saints and Angels
With fall quickly approaching (and let's get real, fall in Texas is like a mild summer), it's time to decide what your closet will look like. With seasonal changes comes a chance to reinvent yourself! What look do you want to posses? What do you want to say while you walk down the street?
While I personally have a hard time choosing one particular style, one that really stands out to me is a boho take on victorian silhouettes. We've been seeing a lot of billowy sleeves, lace, and high necks coming this fall. I love this look because there's a sense of familiarity, femininity, and elegance.
In late spring we received our fabulous Sevilla Collection from Virgin Saints and Angels, and what's exciting about this collection is that the pieces are perfect year round! Below we have a few pieces featured with one of our new favorite Free People tops that is a great example of the boho victorian silhouette we love.
If you're familiar with Virgin Saints and Angels then you know that every single item contains symbolism and meaning usually inspired by something with a historical background. This makes each piece really special and what we call a "forever keepsake".
"The Sevilla collection is inspired by the traditional costume (known as the Suit of Lights) worn by Spanish bullfighters. Historically, these outfits feature silver and gold metallic accents as well as elaborate embroidery. This ornate & metallic-driven style is reflected in VSA’s Sevilla collection through the use of chain detail and intricately stamped medallions."
