Brazos Avenue Market was founded in 2012 by Pam Mercer, a former restauranteur turned boutique aficionado after years of dreaming of one day owning her own shop to call home. She never dreamed that one day she'd be working alongside two of her three daughters.
In 2014, Pam's daughter, Hannah, moved to historic Georgetown, TX to completely manage their ever first Texas hill country store.
"One of our favorite things about this business is that we get to do it together! It's what makes BAM so special, " says Hannah. Hannah's older sister, Taryn, is also a major part of the family business and manages the Angleton location all while being a mom of three young boys.
The sisters are also involved in Brazos by providing their own unique merchandise as pop up vendors in the markets. Hannah's business, Twig Apothecary, is located in the Georgetown store and offers a variety of health, wellness, and beauty products.
Taryn's business, Trendy South, provides a sweet preppy feel with a southern flair to BAM in Angleton, TX.
In the span of six short years, Brazos Avenue Market has expanded to four locations, three of them located south of Houston.
The vision for Brazos is to remain a fun place where people can shop for themselves or find a unique treasure for a loved one.
